Dr. Abdur Rab, a professor of Management, taught at IBA-Dhaka University, Brac University, North South University, and Eastern University. He was also a visiting professor at NIPSOM and NIPORT. He served as a trainer in the Management Development Programs for the THFPOs, TFPOs, and doctors and program officers of NGOs. He taught Hospital Management, Family Planning Program Management, Thana Health Complex Management, and Management of Medical Services for doctors.

He holds a Doctoral of Organization Science (Dr.O.Sc) degree from the University of Belgrade, an MBA from Indiana, University, USA and M.Com and B.Com (Hons) from the University of Dhaka. He has been involved in academic administration as Director, Dean and Vice-Chancellor
