Prof Dr John Richards
John Richards has a PhD in economics, and is an emeritus professor at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver, Canada. He is also a research fellow at the C.D. Howe Institute, one of the major policy institutes in Canada. He is lead author of The Political Economy of Education in South Asia (with Manzoor Ahmed, former BRAC director of Institute for Education Development, and Shahidul Islam, preparing his PhD in Canada).
